The Crazy Rich Asians director is to direct a film about Arnel Pineda?
CRAZY RICH ASIANS DIRECTOR – The director of the hit Hollywood film “Crazy Rich Asian” is said to direct a film about Arnel Pineda but the singer is unaware of it.
The “Crazy Rich Asians” is a book written by Kevin Kwan adapted into a Hollywood film. The local actress Kris Aquino played the character of Malay Princess Intan. A whopping 30 million USD or P1,617,000,000.00 is reportedly the budget to make the film.
The director of this successful film is Jon M. Chu. He has already directed the films such as Step Up 3D, The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, Step Up: All In, Jem and the Holograms, Now You See Me 2, and a lot more.
And now, there were rumors that he will also be directing a film about the international singer, Journey’s lead singer Arnel Pineda. However, the Pinoy international singer is seemingly unaware about this matter.
In an Instagram post, Pineda wrote, “If this article is even just half-true… I’m quite honored… and should be an exciting movie to do… But you need to reach out to me [Mr. Jon M. Chu and WB Picture] coz I’m right here waiting.”

With this issue of the singer being unaware of the alleged film, here are the reactions of the netizens based on an entertainment website:
Weird. Gagawa ng life story but hindi kinausap or ipinaalam man lang sa subject. What gives?
Dahil ba sa Bohemian rhapsody kaya naisipan to. Good luck finding someone as good as Rami Malek.
Verify first if it’s fake news.
Meh, there was a movie about his life a few years ago already.
Was it a movie or a documentary? It even garnered awards if I’m not mistaken. Correct me if I’m wrong.
What can you say about this?
