‘Crazy Rich Asians’ is a film with characters dominantly portrayed by Asian people.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta even reacted to the brief appearance of Aquino in the film where she had described as “short and important” and even called the bashers for belittling her role in the movie.

“I said it didn’t sit well with me how some people were criticising Ms. Kris Aquino’s short appearance in “Crazy Rich Asians,” instead of celebrating that she WAS at all part of that Hollywood movie that has now hit #1 at the Box-Office,” the veteran star said.

And the budget for the film is a whopping 30 million USD or P1,617,000,000.00.
