Netizen’s Video Shoot In Luneta Park Discontinued Because Of Policy Implemented By Staff
LUNETA PARK – A netizen’s rants about a policy in Luneta Park which allegedly show anti-tourism attracted social media attention and went viral.
The Philippines is a great place for tourists to come and visit. It offers lots and lots of tourist attractions like Hinatuan Enchanted River in Surigao del Sur or the famed Hundred Islands in Pangasinan.
There are many reasons why we should make the Philippines tourism-friendly. However, there are also limits brought by certain policy.
Recently, a netizen named Chris Cahilig expressed his disappointments on Facebook and made a video about it. It is with regards to a policy in Luneta Park, a well-known tourist attraction.
He was supposed to shoot a music video with a boy band named 1:43 in Luneta Park. However, the guards interrupted the shoot and asked if they have a permit. According to the staff, it is a policy that the people, especially tourists, who photograph or make a video should “coordinate” with the office.
The netizen said that such policy promotes “Anti-Tourism” as the park is a public place.
