PAGASA Releases Latest Updates On Tropical Depression Domeng

The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest weather updates regarding Tropical Depression Domeng.

On Thursday (June 07, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced the latest updates about Bagyong Domeng.

PAGASA said that Domeng keeps its strength and could intensify the southwest monsoon affecting the areas of Luzon and Visayas.

Tropical Depression Domeng

The tropical depression has maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 60 kph moving north-northwest at 15 kph.

The weather disturbance was last seen 605 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes.

Domeng was expected to bring cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms over Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Western and Eastern Visayas, as well as the provinces of Aurora, Bataan, and Zambales.

Cloud weather conditions with moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms could be experience in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. Meanwhile, Mindanao would be partly cloudy with isolated rain.

The weather agency said that Domeng was expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Sunday (June 10, 2018).

However, another tropical storm with an international name of “Ewiniar” has been spotted outside PAR with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
