PAGASA Says Bagyong Domeng Was Expected To Intensify For The Next Few Days

The state weather bureau PAGASA announced that Bagyong Domeng was expected to intensify for the next few days.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Bagyong Domeng could enhance as it moves across the Philippine Sea.

The weather disturbance was last spotted about 805 kilometers East of Catarman, Northern Samar.

Domeng has maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and could gusts up to 60 kph moving 15 kph North-Northwest.

As of now, the storm brings moderate to occasionally heavy rains over Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region.

PAGASA said that Bagyong Domeng could still intensify and might turn into a tropical storm by Friday (June 08, 2018).

The weather agency said that the chance of tropical depression might not hit the land but could pull the southwest monsoon that would bring rainy weather condition over MIMAROPA and Western Visayas by Thursday (June 07, 2018).

On Friday, Metro Manila and the remaining western section of Luzon would be affected by the southwest monsoon.
