She confessed that the first she experienced it, she like dying and drowning and the moment she wanted to tell the people of her condition the more the attack intensifies.

It was actually the late Director Wenn Deramas who first suggested her to see a psychiatrist.

Dra. Bernadette Manalo-Arcena, her psychiatrist explained, “Artista siya, so kumbaga, the pressure and yung trabaho mismo, I could just imagine na napaka-tedious. At saka hindi lang yun, yung mga expectations ng hindi lang ng ibang tao, e. Family, fans… Para sa akin, it takes its toll on her plus a death of a significant other na siyempre noong time na yun, pag gano’n ang age mo, the love of your life na mawawala sa buhay mo.”

Accordingly, she has regular medications and consultation on a regular basis.

And her doctor said that “at the moment, she is doing very well.”

She was called “baliw” by the people but she shared that she is proud to have her mental health prioritized because she really needs guidance.
