International Pressure Against North Korea wanted By NATO
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) wants to apply international pressure on North Korea to abandon their nuclear program.
On Wednesday (September 06, 2017), NATO military alliance wanted to apply pressure from different countries against North Korea after its nuclear launch. They wanted to pressure the communist country for threatening nations of a nuclear strike.
“It is now imperative that all nations implement more thoroughly and transparently existing U.N. sanctions” against North Korea was said by NATO ambassadors during talks in Brussels quoted by Philstar.
45th Us President Donald Trump also said that it is already the time to talk with North Korea with the remaining option to defend the United States and its allies. Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May agreed to increase diplomatic pressure on the communist country.
Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Us President Trump confirmed that US and Australia will strengthen their efforts to denuclearize North Korea.
On Thursday (September 07, 2017), Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery was set to add more launchers as it has been started to set up in South Korea in early 2017.
However, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said that the THAAD system would only increase the tensions on Korean Peninsula.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe are holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok regarding the conference on the economic development of Russia’s the Far East.
Moon also said that they need to make North Korea realize that there will be no bright future for their country if it will pursue its nuclear program.
