According to Coco Martin, this is why it was postponed.
ABS-CBN actor Coco Martin is set to release a new series, “Sigabo,” but it has been moved to a different date for this reason.
“Sigabo” an upcoming drama starring Coco Martin and Julia Montes. This also marks their reunion on television. While it was initially announced that it would start airing immediately after the release of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” finale, some things have changed.

Based on the update, the series will be rescheduled. It has been moved to a different date, “as preparations continue to make it an exciting offering that will bring a new viewing experience,” according to ABS-CBN.
“The Alibi” will be replacing the first time slot in primetime, followed by “What Lies Beneath” at 8:45 PM, which is heading to its final chapter as well. The mystery drama stars Janella Salvador, Kaila Estrada, Sue Ramirez, Charlie Dizon, and Jake Cuenca.
According to Coco, they did not push through with the initial plan after noticing that everyone needed a rest. He could notice that the staff were not as productive due to the exhaustion from the previous series.
They already started shooting and prepared for the scenes to be shot, but the exhaustion from everyone was so undeniable, and it prompted him to put a halt for now to give them time to rest.
“Kaso lang habang shino-shoot po namin ito, nakita po talaga ng buong team nakaramdam kami ng pagod. Kasi syempre talagang pinaghandaan po namin yung finale,” the actor said in the interview.
The directors and producers also talked to him, telling him that he really needs rest, as the tiredness has already manifested physically on him. He was told that they could all use a break in order to think and create better for this new show.
He listened to them and spoke with the higher-ups. He assured that “Sigabo” will be just as thrilling and exciting as “Ang Probinsyano” and “Batang Quiapo.”
