SK Chairman Faces Charges Over Alleged Abuse of Pregnant Girlfriend
SK chairman in Manila is now facing a formal complaint after his pregnant girlfriend accused him of repeated physical abuse.
The woman, a 24-year-old model and talent, is currently two months pregnant. She filed a complaint against her 25-year-old boyfriend, who serves as an SK chairman. According to her, their relationship has lasted for two years, but the alleged abuse started several months into their time together and continued over time.
The most recent incident reportedly happened on April 24. The woman said the argument began out of jealousy after she received a phone call from a friend while they were spending time together.
The woman claimed that she was slapped, kicked, and thrown around despite her condition.
She shared that this was not the first time she had experienced such treatment. She admitted that she endured the situation for a long time because she wanted their child to grow up with both parents. Over time, however, she decided that she could no longer stay silent.
The SK chairman, on the other hand, also claimed that he suffered injuries during their fights. He alleged that the woman hurt him as well and even damaged his motorcycle during one of their arguments.
The woman acknowledged these actions but explained that she was only defending herself. Records show that the woman had previously reported incidents to the barangay, but no formal case was filed at the time. This time, she has chosen to move forward with legal action.
Barangay officials described the SK chairman as active in his duties, although they admitted that his personal relationship sometimes affected his schedule.
The case has now been formally submitted to the police, and the matter is expected to undergo proper legal proceedings.
