This is what Derek Ramsay said about the issues surrounding their separation.
After Ellen Adarna confirmed her separation from Derek Ramsay, the actor has this to say about the issues that came with it.
Previously, celebrities Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay made it to the headlines after the actress confirmed their split. However, what was even more shocking was the revelation that he cheated on her, which happened even before they tied the knot.
After confirming their split, Ellen vowed to commit to a five-year celibacy and will use this time to focus on her kids. She has a son with actor John Lloyd Cruz and a daughter with Ramsay.
Recently, after the separation was confirmed, Ramsay appeared in an interview and revealed that he was deeply hurt by the issues that surrounded their split. He was especially affected by the allegations of infidelity that were raised against him.
For months, amid the issues, he chose to stay silent and said that it was his faith that helped him get through that rough chapter in his life, as he endured the mixed reactions and accusations that came along with it.
In the interview, he admitted that what happened caused him pain. However, he found peace in choosing not to deal with the controversy publicly. It was really his faith that carried him through and was the source of his strength.
“Siyempre my support system has always been there but really going back to your faith. I’ve always been a man of faith. May takot ako sa Diyos pero I think lahat naman tayo guilty na kung kailan masarap ang buhay mo, everything is going great, masaya ka minsan, nakakalimutan mo magpasalamat. Pinalaki ako ng mommy ko na to have faith. For your faith to be strong,” he said.
During the height of the controversy, he found the support of his friends and family when he got lost. He later described the experience as deeply emotional, revealing that he found himself breaking down in tears several times, often without warning, in different parts of his home.
Despite the buzz, he still chooses not to speak further about the issue out of respect for everyone involved. He chooses to move forward and focus on his family.
What can you say about this? Let us know in the comments!
It is a relief to see that he has chosen to do what he has done & is doing. I do NOT recommend the manner that E.A. took (public flogging & shaming) to get through their marital crisis. It was gruesome & bloody. Fortunately, this has managed to make D.R. find his faith. EVERYTHING happens FOR us and NOT to us.
Scripture says it besr, “For those who love God, all things work together for good.”
