Rochelle Pangilinan shared stories about her popular dance group
Actress-dancer Rochelle Pangilinan talked about the indecent proposal that she and her fellow S=xbomb members received.
Rochelle became the leader of one of the most popular all-girl dance groups in the Philippine entertainment industry that rose to fame in the 2000s. They were formed under the management of the longest-running noontime show as segment dancers.
Eventually, S=xbomb Girls had their independent stints in showbiz. They had dance concerts and released songs. They even had their own teleserye during the height of their stardom.

Eventually, some members opted to take a different journey outside showbiz, while some continued in the entertainment industry, like Rochelle Pangilinan.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of Kapamilya veteran journalist Karen Davila, Rochelle shared the challenges they encountered.
She admitted that they encountered discrimination many times. There was a time when people would push that they would be removed from the show because, allegedly, this had to do with a crime.
“Pinapatanggal yata kami ng mga panahon na ‘yon kasi ano raw, nagiging cause daw kami ng r@pe kasi sobrang sexy ng suot namin. Naka-bra sa TV. Shempre masakit sa’min ‘yon,” the Kapuso star said.
Rochelle admitted that there was a moment when she thought that their group might be a bad influence on younger people because Filipinos were still conservative, especially at that time. They were known for their sultry dance moves and revealing costumes, and because of that, Rochelle somehow had that kind of thinking.
On the other hand, the negative comments faded because many people considered them as an inspiration.

In the interview, Rochelle Pangilinan was also asked if they received indecent proposals. She shared that she heard her fellow members mention during the interviews that there were indecent proposals offered to them.
“Ako, isa lang po,” she shared. What she did at that time was escape. “Tumakbo po ako palayo, hindi ako lumaban, bawing-bawi po ako,” she said about her reaction when that happened.
The actress-dancer stressed that she never entertained the idea of having a sugar daddy because she was taught by her parents the importance of working hard for herself.
