Kryz Uy shares a new post amid issues, but limits comments.
Social media personality Kryz Uy breaks her social media hiatus amid the issues of Slater Young regarding Monterrazas.
Spanning over 200 hectares, Monterrazas de Cebu is the largest continuous mountain development in Cebu City, boasting majestic views of Mactan, Cebu, and Bohol. Ever since it was launched, it has raised environmental concerns.
Following the Typhoon Tino that triggered severe and catastrophic flooding in the nearby towns, Slater Young’s Monterrazas project was put under hot water again. It prompted the authorities to investigate the project again to identify and verify how it contributed to the flooding that claimed many lives.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has found several violations. Based on a previous article, Monterrazas faced criminal charges filed by the agency for the violation of Section 77 of Presidential Decree 705, or the Revised Forestry Code. It was discovered that over 700 trees were cut down without proper permission for the Monterrazas project, and the developer violated 10 of the 33 conditions in its ECC.
Recently, amid the buzz, Slater’s wife, Kryz Uy, who was silent the entire time during the height of the issue, broke her social media hiatus. She shared updates about their lives and bits of what’s happening in their house, but limited who can comment on her post.
For the caption, she only put a tiny, yellow heart. To recall, when the issue about her husband erupted, she was mum and refrained from sharing updates. It took a while for her to come back, and she also stopped updating her YouTube channel.
As much as we all know, Kryz is active online. She would always share little updates about her life, her marriage, and her children through a series of Instagram posts or long-form vlogs. She would also post every day, but when the issue came up, she suddenly went on hiatus.
