Singer Kris Lawrence moved Katrina Halili to tears with a heartfelt love letter expressing his desire to pursue her again, sparking renewed interest in their relationship.
R&B singer Kris Lawrence and Kapuso actress Katrina Halili have embraced a new chapter in their relationship. As per Kris, he is now wasting this second chance with her. He is getting to know her all over again in a new version of herself and him in his new version as well.
After parting ways in 2014 following a five-year relationship, Kris and Katrina remained connected through their daughter, Katie. Earlier this year, they rekindled their friendship and focused on improving their co-parenting dynamic. They’ve also had trips and moments, sparking rekindled romance, but recently, it appeared Kris has finally made clear his intention towards the mother of his daughter.
In a love letter he gave her before flying abroad for work, he officially asked her: “Pwede bang manligaw sa’yo?”
Halili featured this moment in her new vlog. She read it after sending him off at the airport with Katie. His message moved her to tears.
He began his letter by thanking Katrina for giving him the opportunity to get to know her again, for the conversations they shared, the spontaneous moments they spent together, and the places they visited along the way.
In this new chapter of their relationship, Kris said he has come to appreciate Katrina even more as he got to know her heart, kindness, and the love she shows not only to their daughter but also to the people around her.
He assured her that he is not rushing anything and is willing to take things slowly, giving her the time she needs to feel safe and fully be herself again. He emphasized that his intentions toward her are sincere and genuine.
As he asked for her permission to pursue her again, Kris assured Katrina that his decision was not driven by their past or by what other people wanted for them, but by what he genuinely wanted, and that is her.
