Andrea Brillantes signs contract with MQuest Ventures.
Former Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes is now a Kapatid, an official part of TV5 Network after signing a contract with MQuest Ventures.
Andrea Brillantes is the industry’s “Gen Z Superstar,” a title that she well deserves. She began her career as a child actress and debuted in Goin’ Bulilit, a gag show on ABS-CBN. Her biggest break was in Annaliza. This was the role that brought her to stardom.
A lot of opportunities were given to her, landed on several more roles, and her portrayal as Marga in the melodrama Kadenang Ginto is what she is best known for. It was her performance in Annaliza that earned her an accolade for Best Child Performer at the 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television.
She has been with ABS-CBN, but recently, she has made a big decision to leave and transfer to another network. Earlier this month, it was rumored that she was all poised to jump channels, from ABS-CBN to GMA-7.
Recently, on Thursday, it was confirmed that she has indeed transferred, but her new network is TV5. She just signed a contract with MQuest Ventures, making her an official part of the Kapatid network.
As of this writing, the actress has not spoken about what prompted her to make the big decision and leave ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, as an actress, she also headlined two popular youth drama series called Senior High and its 2024 sequel, High Street. She was also a part of Erik Matti’s On The Job: The Missing 8, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2021.
She has a massive social media following, including more than 21.4 million followers on TikTok and more than 14.3 million on Instagram. Brillantes is also an entrepreneur with her own makeup line and a jewelry brand.
