Miss Universe New Zealand Tania Dawson spend her time with her Filipino family caught the attention of the netizens on social media.

The beauty queen took to Instagram and shared a photo of her when she visited the Pangasinan. But the netizens were surprised because Dawson wrote in the caption that she went to her Family.

Dawson shared that while she is in the country, it’s a chance to spend some time with her relatives by visiting them in Pangasinan.

In a recent news report of ABS-CBN news, the mother of New Zealand’s Tania Dawson is a Filipina. She posted some of the photos of her and her relatives on Instagram that went viral.

“Before arriving in Manila today I went and saw my family in Pangasinan,” said in the caption of a photo she posted Thursday taken at the Urdaneta Garden Resort.

In a previous report of ABS-CBN news, Dawson said that she loves coming to the Philippines because it brings out her Filipina side.

“It really brings out the Filipina in me and it’s great to be learning all about the culture and really getting in touch with who I am by blood,” Dawson explained when she was interviewed by ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe.

She also posted some throwback photos of her when she visited the country in 2012.

The 23-year-old Beauty queen who has been crowned as Miss Universe New Zealand 2016 is one of the candidates to watch out for in the much-awaited International pageant.

She will face stiff competition as she will be facing the Philippines’ very own Maxine Medina.

The 65th Miss Universe pageant will be held in Manila, Philippines on January 30.
