In an interview, Vice Ganda reveals why she now wants a smaller house.

From wanting a huge mansion, what she wants now, after achieving it, is a simple and smaller home where she can live a simple and quiet life. Vice’s mansion was completed in 2022. It was one of the physical manifestations of her hard work and success in the show business. It is the fruit of his labor – a luxurious yet very cozy mansion that features stunning, minimalistic exterior and interior designs.
Now, why did her perspective change?
“Nagbago na yung trip ko. Gusto ko ng mas maliit na bahay. Gusto ko na ng mas simple lang. Gusto ko ng kulay puting buhay,” the superstar comedian explained. She used to not like a white house. She preferred a dark one, as seen in his current mansion, but this changed.
She attributed this change to being shaped by time and aging. Vice felt good about achieving her childhood goals, but he later realized that simple living would bring her more joy.
Aside from this, one of the reasons was the difficulty he had in seeing his partner, Ion Perez, simply because of how massive their mansion is. The house felt far too big for just the two of them, making the physical distance between them feel great.
There’s also the high cost of maintaining such a large home—something she believes all homeowners can surely relate to.
