A grandma touches the hearts of many netizens after asking her lawyer grandchild to attend her birthday celebration.
Recently, X (formerly Twitter) user named “jc” shared a sweet story about his grandmother who asked him to attend her 88th birthday celebration. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
JC shared screenshots of their conversation. According to the messages, the original plan was to celebrate the birthday on July 14. However, the date was moved to July 12 to make it easier for family members to attend since most of them didn’t have work that day.
The grandmother’s simple wish was for all her grandchildren, especially her lawyer grandson, to be there. But jc initially had another event to attend on that same day. Knowing this, his grandmother messaged him, hoping he could still make it.
Eventually, jc couldn’t ignore his grandma’s heartfelt request. He decided to postpone his own plans and traveled back home to Pangasinan just to be there with her.
