Bea Alonzo and Belle Mariano were among the celebrities who showed love for Lolit Solis
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo sent flowers to the late showbiz writer-talent manager Lolit Solis.
To recall, there was a rough chapter between Lolit and Bea. That was the time when the showbiz writer was sharing negative write-ups about the actress. Back then, Lolit would attack Bea’s career and personal life, including her love life.
This did not sit well with Bea’s manager Shirley Kuan, who was ready to sue the writer for her statements. Then, the time came when Lolit apologized to the actress.
Eventually, the reconciliation in person happened when Bea Alonzo and Lolit Solis met at Beautederm President and CEO Rei Tan’s birthday celebration.
Based on the article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, Bea’s name on the beautiful arrangements at Lolit’s wake was very noticeable.
Aside from Bea, Asis also mentioned that Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano gave “abuloy” which surprised Lolit’s loved ones. It was because Belle and Lolit never met in person.
The later showbiz writer had mentioned in her write-up before that Belle never forgot to send her something during special occasions.
Meanwhile, Lolit Solis’s wake was like an event or gathering of stars, as many showbiz personalities came and showed respect to her. Among them was actor Mark Herras, who was under Lolit’s management.
It was known to many that Mark and Lolit had a falling out. The late writer criticized the actor in her write-ups and even divulged the supposed “utang” issue.
Mark said in a previous interview that he has no “tampo” toward his former manager. At the wake, the actor said that he would miss Lolit whom he considered a mother.
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis also received an attack from his late talent manager. He jokingly called her his enemy. Just like Mark, Paolo did not take that against Lolit. For the Kapuso actor, it was like a “lambing” from the late showbiz writer.
