Due to the anticipated effects of Tropical Storm Kristine, Malacañang declared on Tuesday that government work and classes at all levels in the entire Luzon will be suspended on Wednesday, October 23.

The declaration was upon the recommendation of the Office of Civil Defense and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
Meanwhile, according to the Office of Executive Secretary, the government offices and agencies that operate in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services will continue to function to extend services.
Based on a previous article, theĀ 11 PM update about Kristine PH from PAGASA stated that Kristine was last spotted 345 km East Northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte, or 475 km East of Infanta, Quezon on 10 PM of October 22.

The tropical storm that has the international name Trami is expected to make landfall over Isabela or Aurora as a severe tropical storm on Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning, October 24.
