Delfin, a resident of Barangay Marupit, Camaligan, Camarines Sur, had parked his bicycle outside a local eatery in Urban Queborac, Barangay Bagumbayan Sur, while buying fried chicken for dinner.
As he made his purchase, a 19-year-old named John, who is also from Barangay Marupit, seized the opportunity to steal Delfin’s bicycle.

When Delfin returned and noticed his bicycle missing, he quickly spotted John trying to escape with it, heading towards Urban Queborac Proper. Delfin immediately sought help from the local barangay tanod (Watchmen).
The tanod responded swiftly, pursued John, and successfully apprehended him, recovering the stolen bicycle.
John is now in the custody of Police Station No. 3, where he faces charges of theft. Thanks to the quick action of Delfin and the local authorities, the situation was resolved, and the stolen bicycle was returned.
