Lady Netizen Denies Being the Woman in Viral Post

A lady netizen denied being the woman who allegedly used a lost credit card to buy an expensive cellphone worth P88,000.

Recently, Emmarie Diaz Saldana, a Facebook user, found herself at the receiving end of messages from friends and other netizens who mistook her for the suspect in the viral post shared by J-eazy Drake Garcia.

Saldana expressed her shock at how similar she looked to the suspect in the photos, prompting her to post several pictures as proof that she was not the same woman. She also shared details about her activities on June 16, 2024, the day the incident happened.

Emmarie says she did not go out that day and shared that she had never been to Masinag, it has been years since her last visit to Marikina, she doesn’t live in Quezon City, her phone is not a Samsung, she didn’t go to Binondo and she didn’t go to Star Mall.

The lady netizen said while they have some similar features like short hair and body type, they are different people.

The young lady also revealed that she was preoccupied with cooking for her sister and brother-in-law’s 18th wedding anniversary celebration in Lugam, Malolos, on June 16, ruling out her involvement in the alleged credit card fraud incident.

Meanwhile, there is a possibility that Garcia’s wallet was not lost at all, as the suspect is known to have a history of using other people’s credit cards illegally in the past.

As the investigation continues, Saldana’s denial urges authorities to thoroughly examine all leads and evidence to identify the true culprit behind the incident.
