Recently, Rommel Quinsay, a Facebook user, shared his thoughtful actions to motivate his students during their exams. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited reactions from the online community.
As his class prepared for their examinations, Quinsay offered free pencils to all of them and also distributed candies to help them stay awake during the test.
The candy wrappers featured inspiring messages such as “Dream On,” “Success,” “Reach for the Star,” and many others. The sweet words of encouragement bring positivity to the day.
“Naisip ko ang pakulo na ito upang hindi kabahan ang aking mga mag-aaral, una binigyan ko sila ng lapis sa pamamagitan ng isang hugot lines Lapis ka ba? Kasi suwerte ka ngayong exam. Pagkatapos binigyan ko sila ng mga kendi na may nakasulat na mensahe gaya ng Start the day right, reach for the stars, nothing is impossible, dream on, do it now, yehey, carry on, success, be happy, take it easy, kaya mo yan, good vibes, choose positivity at maraming pang iba,” Quinsay said.
The educator who teaches Grade 3 at Pamatawan Integrated School in Subic, Zambales, explained the motivation behind his gestures. Along with the pencils and candy with inspiring wrappers, he composed a poem to boost his students’ morale.
The teacher also wrote a poem for his students titled ‘Ang aking mga anak sa Ikatlong Baitang’.
