Anne Curtis Admired For How She Comforted A Crying Contestant

This is how Anne Curtis comforted this contestant who was “gonged” in Tawag Ng Tanghalan.

Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis comforted this 15-year-old contestant who cried after being “gonged” in the competition.

In Tawag Ng Tanghalan, some of the best amateur singers in the country can be found. Many artists from this competition have already risen in popularity. While many have established a career through this program, there were those who have a different thing that is more valuable and that is experience and learning.

During the recent episode of the competition, a 15-year-old contestant was gonged by Punong Hurado Louie Ocampo.

According to the veteran musician, her power and energy were good but too much of those two have led to some sharps in her singing. This is rather better than being flat but these technical errors must be addressed.

The young contestant immediately cried after she was gonged. As much as we all know, receiving this from the Punong Hurado means automatic termination from the contest. She clearly felt bad but host Anne Curtis was there to comfort her.

In a very gentle voice, the Kapamilya superstar was trying to ease up the heavy emotions from the rejection the contestant was feeling. She was asking her questions and was comforting her with words like to not feel bad about it as she is still young and absolutely has a lot of time to harness and improve her talent.

She even advised her to watch her performance again so she could personally point out the mistakes the judges had made and make use of this experience to be better and come back stronger.

“Madami ka pang pwedeng pagsalihan, matutunan,” she expressed.

In the video, the judges also shared heartfelt advice for the young contestant with Erik Santos pointing out that he was once in the same situation but he did not give up. His hard work and persistence in the singing contest he joined made him the champion.
