TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime will soon return with Tawag Ng Tanghalan along new and fun segments.
For a month, nothing has been heard from any of the ABS-CBN shows as they are under fire of issues amid their battle for new franchise. The network has forced shut down in compliance to the cease and desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
And one of the programs many people have missed is It’s Showtime. What they missed from this show are the funny banters of the hosts and their segments to which among the most well-loved is the Tawag Ng Tanghalan.
Well, there are some good news amid the network’s shut down! Some of your favorite shows will be aired again which includes Showtime. This will be made possible through their new cable channel and TNT also stays.
According to a report from PEP, one of the main hosts Vhong Navarro shared that the three (3) new segments are ‘1Ted Now Hiring, Pamilyanaryo, at Super Fiestars: Ang Barangay Paligsahan.’ The first mentioned game is for those who are unemployed in this pandemic.
The second one is for those families who are still able to help other in dire need despite their own adversities in this time of pandemic. He added regarding the third one, “Ang ating ‘Super Fiestars,’ itong Mayo maraming fiesta pero di natupad dahil sa lockdownMerong anim na araw na merong iba-ibang segment na sakop ng ‘Super Fiestars.'”
As the show returns, hosts such as Vice Ganda, Vhong, Jhong Hilario, and Karylle are required to go physically present while the others might join virtually. In other days, Amy Perez, Ryan Bang, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz will also go live in the studio.
Aside from this noontime show of Kapamilya network, other programs which will also return and new programs to be introduced in the new channel are the following:
- “A Soldier’s Heart” on weeknights
- “Love Thy Woman” during weekdays
- “Ang Probinsyano”
- “ASAP Natin ‘To”
- “Magandang Buhay”
- “The Voice Teens” on weekends (new season)
- “Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan” with Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo during Saturdays (new show)
- Iba ‘Yan” every Sunday hosted by Angel Locsin (new show)
- “The World of a Married Couple”
