Village Official’s Home Gets Destroyed While Checking his Constituents Amid Typhoon Egay’s Onslaught
The home of a village official in Sta. Ana, Cagayan, got wrecked while he was ensuring the safety of his community amid the onslaught of Typhoon Egay.
Natural disasters have a way of putting communities and individuals to the test, especially when they hit with unexpected severity.
Recently, during the onslaught of Super Typhoon Egay in Barangay Palawig, Sta. Ana, Cagayan, village official Rodel Misador was ensuring the safety of his community, but he had no idea that his home was already destroyed.
As a village official, Rodel was familiar with the preparations required to keep the community safe during such calamities, knowing that Cagayan is no stranger to typhoons.
He was focused on guiding his fellow villagers to safety. Unfortunately, his own home was being ravaged by the storm’s wrath while he was ensuring the welfare of his constituents. He was shocked and confused after witnessing his home turned to rubble.
During this difficult time, Misador tries to muster his strength and courage while trying to hold back the tears from falling. The incident left him with no choice but to ask for help from anyone who was willing to extend a helping hand.
