Sole Passenger Rides Train Alone and Shares His Unique Experience
COMMUTING EXPERIENCE – A sole passenger has gone viral online after sharing his unique experience of riding a train alone.
Facebook user Jay Bryan Amores shared his extraordinary train ride as the sole passenger, and his post quickly spread like wildfire, garnering various reactions from netizens.
Amores recounted how he had initially planned to take a jeepney back to Pasay after dropping off his girlfriend and head home to Cavite. However, when he noticed that the lights at the Southbound LRT station were still on and the gate was open, he decided to take a chance and board the LRT.
“But then I saw the lights sa LRT station Southbound na bukas pa and the “gate” was still open so nag baka sakali lang ako sa LRT that time na baka hindi pa dumadaan ang last trip ng tren,” Jay said.
His goal was to catch the last trip of the train, and fortunately, he was allowed to enter the station. Curious about the exact time of the last trip that evening, Jay approached the guard for information.
The guard informed him that the last trip would be around 10:30-10:40 pm, passing by the Vito Cruz station Southbound.
“So pagka-akyat ko, swerte ko dahil pinapasok pa ako. I asked the guard kung anong oras ba talaga ang last trip, ang sabi, usually, around 10:30-10:40 nakadaan na ang last trip sa Vito Cruz station Southbound. May slight delay lang kaya medyo na-late ang dating and ayun, I got lucky na naabutan ko pa ang last train,” he explained.
Previously, a male passenger has also hailed as ‘Pasikat’ for doing something inside a running train.
As he boarded the train, Jay couldn’t help but recall scenes from a horror film he had watched before. The classic Filipino movie “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” came to mind, which featured a creature appearing on a train.
However, he clarified that the train he rode on was of an older generation, which gave the ride a nostalgic vibe.
Despite the unintentional flashback to the horror film, Jay assured himself that everything was fine and that he was safe throughout the journey.
“Natawa rin ako dahil pumasok nga din sa isip ko yung scene sa Shake, Rattle, and Roll noon na may halimaw sa train, kasi generation 1 pa na tren ang nasakyan ko so luma na talaga.hehe! Pero okay naman at buhay pa naman ako,” he added.
