Netizen Arnie De Ala recently shared a delightful encounter with a customer service agent from a bank, bringing good vibes to everyone who read the story.
De Ala called the bank to request a credit limit increase for an upcoming trip abroad in August. Explaining the situation, Arnie mentioned that the credit limit on their card had been maxed out due to having a supplementary card.
Wanting to explore the possibility of an increase, Arnie reached out to the bank’s customer service.
“I called them (bank) for Credit Limit Increase po sana for my out of country travel this August. Na maxed out ko na po yung limit ko sa card ko kasi may supplementary din ako dun. Kaya I opted to call them for a possible credit limit increase,”De Ala said.
To Arnie’s surprise, the customer service agent seemed genuinely pleased upon hearing their request. The agent’s response, “Thank you LORD for waiting,” prompted a spontaneous reaction from them.
Arnie couldn’t help but laugh, sensing that the agent might have been a bit nervous or inexperienced, possibly handling one of their first calls. In a comforting gesture, he reassured the agent that it was alright, allowing them to proceed with the call.
“Pagkasabi nya ng ‘thank you LORD for waiting’ nag ‘ay’ siya then nag-mute po sya. Natawa po talaga ako, kasi nahalata ko po na parang kabado siya, siguro po isa ako sa first callers nya kaya natataranta pa siya. Sinabihan ko nalang siya na okay lang yun. Then we proceed with the call. Pero naririnig ko po on the background nagtatawanan din mga kasama nya,” he added.
