In an interview, Andrea Brillantes finally speaks about her recent split.
ANDREA BRILLANTES – Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes are no longer together and this is what the actress said about this.
In a previous article, basketball player Ricci Rivero confirmed through a statement posted on his social media page the split between him and Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes. He apologized and asked for privacy as they go on a journey of healing and to preserve what was left of their friendship.
But the actress was unbothered.
Amid the height of the speculations, the actress remained silent and shared an “unbothered” post. And while the issue regarding their split start to finally lie low, she finally broke her silence.
In an interview in Magandang Buhay, she expressed her thoughts about the pain of the separation but did not divulge the real reasons behind their split. To recall, they have been together for over a year before Rivero confirmed their split which was allegedly because of a third party.
“Parang hindi pa po ako malaya, fully. Kasi may mga bagay na… tingin ko kasi kapag sinabing freedom, mayroon ding part dun na acceptance,” she expressed in honesty.
Accordingly, her heart is now okay but she can’t say that she has fully let go of everything. She has loved him truly and deeply and it is not easy for her to let of what they have had. She is still in the process of finally letting herself free. She admitted that she has been holding on to some things.
“Ayoko naman maging pretentious at maki-trend lang na ‘I’m unbothered’ para lang masabi na unbothered queen. Aminado ako na nakakaramdam ako, kasi tao pa rin ako,” she said.
What’s good amid everything that’s happening to her now is her family and friends who are there. She can lean on them as she faces this phase in her life.
She chooses to be happy and it’s also her choice to not speak in order to have peace.
