A netizen shared a screenshot of a supposed conversation with Leren Mae Bautista
Beauty queen and Los Baños councilor Leren Mae Bautista appeared to have answered the cheating accusations against her.
Leren Mae is accused of being the third party in basketball player Ricci Rivero’s breakup with actress Andrea Brillantes. The name of the actress trended on social media, especially after the basketball player released a statement through his Twitter post.
He asked the public to let the healing process take place and respect their desire to have peace of mind.
Amid that supposed breakup confirmation from Ricci Rivero, rumors surfaced linking him to Leren Mae Bautista. Netizens’ attention was caught by the post that the beauty queen shared last May.
It showed that the basketball player celebrated his birthday in Los Banos and had his feeding program there. Then, it was also noticed that Leren shared a photo of Ricci on her Instagram story and the latter reposted it but, later on, deleted it.
Amid this issue and the bashing that Leren received on social media, a certain Mavs Mendoza defended the beauty queen against a tweet from Twitter user @missdeinsy who wrote, “ricci cheated on andrea for a beauty queen and advocate? ang chaka lang nung beauty queen ka tapos pumatol ka sa may girlfriend? yikes.”
In his comment, Mavs Mendoza shared a screenshot of a conversation with Leren Mae. “Don’t worry, wala naman dapat ikakaba or anything kasi hingi naman totoo ang accusations,” she said, adding that people are just quick to assume.
Mavs Mendoza stressed that the accusations against Leren Mae Bautista are not true. “Just to inform you that walang katotohanan yang accusations mo. I talked to Leren earlier and walang dapat ikakaba. Okay? False accusations and sana learn how to validate the issues muna,” he wrote.
Netizens who commented on this did not take the side of the beauty queen, instead, they expressed negative reactions.
