Alden Richards talked about his upcoming series with Nadine Lustre
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and award-winning actress Nadine Lustre are set to begin filming for their first series together, titled Love, Siargao.
To recall, Alden and Nadine first publicly expressed their dream to work with each other back in 2020. At that time, they were named as Century Tuna Superbods endorsers. They said that they aspire to make a movie together.
Early this year, even though it was not a movie, fans were still hyped up by their upcoming team-up when it was announced in January that they would have a teleserye project.
In a recent interview on 24 Oras, the primetime news program of GMA Network, Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre will spend more than a month in Siargao to tape their first series together.
Love, Siargao is from VIU Philippines production that will be shot right on the beautiful island of Siargao, known as the surfing capital of the Philippines. To recall, Nadine has been promoting the island’s tourism and products since she had the opportunity to stay there, and there she met her boyfriend, businessman Chris Bariou.
Alden excitedly announced that they will begin taping for the series this coming April. “Actually, by April, we’ll be flying to Siargao na, and we’re going to be staying there for a little over a month to shoot it,” the Kapuso actor said.
Alden also expressed his excitement to show the beauty of the country in their upcoming series. “It’s a love letter to the Filipino na sometimes we want to highlight the beauty of the Philippines, alongside telling a great love story. So, abangan n’yo po ‘yan,” Alden Richards enthused.
Alden and Nadine’s respective fans are already excited about their first on-screen collaboration. Rising K-drama star Choi Bo-min will also join AlDine in the series, which is expected to air this year.
