However, the photo was actually part of the promotional campaign for their upcoming film “Always Yours, Never Mine,” where they star alongside Joshua Garcia under Star Cinema.

During the movie’s grand mediacon, Bianca and Julia were asked whether they would be willing to take on a GL project together.

Bianca said she is open to working with Julia again. The Kapuso actress shared that they had previously worked together during a shampoo brand shoot, but she believes working together on a movie would offer a different experience.

“If the right project comes, I mean, why not?” the Kapuso star said.

“It’s a good conversation in time to have this kind of expansion in everyone’s careers, everyone is in the collaboration era,” she said.

Julia, meanwhile, also expressed her admiration for Bianca’s acting skills. She revealed that one of her favorite scenes in their upcoming movie is a moment shared with Bianca.

“I think coming together and having the conversation in that scene was so moving. I’m excited for a lot of other women to see and resonate with it,” the actress said.

“It’s a material we’ll wait for, at the right time, but game!”

Their statements have fueled further interest among fans who have been following their on-screen chemistry and friendship. While there is currently no confirmed GL project featuring the two actresses, both have made it clear that they are not closing the door on the possibility.

Also part of “Always Mine, Never Yours” are Joy Barcoma, Karen Reyes, Bob Jbeili, Migs Almendras, and Chanda Romero.

The film is directed by box-office filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Sampana and is scheduled to hit Philippine cinemas on September 30.
