Kapuso actress SxBomb Girls leader Rochelle Pangilinan admitted that she now believes in the saying “life begins at 40.”
This coming May 23, the award-winning actress and dancer will celebrate her 44th birthday. She started her showbiz career during the early 2000 when she became a dancer on the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
A few years later, she her fellow dance group members ventured into acting and other aspects in the entertainment industry.
Last year, they had their reunion concert and catered to several shows. With the overwhelming support from their fans, every show was a success, which goes to show that their popularity is still there and their supporters have always been present.
Decades after their first stints in showbiz, Rochelle Pangilinan shared an important realization through her recent Instagram post.
Rochelle admitted that at her age, she never thought she would be given new opportunities in her career.
The Kapuso star posted a photo of herself on Instagram along with a message about her journey in the entertainment industry.
“At 40s… akala ko tapos na ang mga ‘firsts.’ Pero hindi pala. Doon pa kami napasama sa Mobile Legends, doon pa mas nagbukas ang mga oportunidad,” she shared.
Even at her age, she continues receiving opportunities in life and career, and she could not be more thankful.
“Kumbaga, gising ‘to sa mga babae—na akala mo pag tumanda ka, mag-stop na ang lahat. Na “nanay ka na lang”… pero hindi. Madami pang naghihintay para sa’yo,” she shared.
Then, the Kapuso actress said that always, her prayer is that she will be a channel of her blessing to be shared with other people, and this is happening.
With this, Rochelle Pangilinan said that age is not a hindrance. “Hindi hadlang ang edad. Life begins at 40,” she stressed.
