U.S. Pres. Donald Trump Gives Update on Middle East Conflict

TRUMP – The United States President agreed to stop the attacks against Iran for two (2) weeks amid the warning for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The war in the Middle East is now on its fifth week. It occurred after the United States and Israel attacked Iran which led to the deaths of many of its officials and civilians. The country vowed to avenge the death of their fellow Iranians.

Tehran imposed restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital passageway for global oil shipments, following the attack. It banned the vessels linked to U.S. and Israel. According to Iran, they will make U.S. regret the attack.

U.S. Pres. Donald Trump recently said that he is considering blowing up Iran and taking over the oil. The American President who previously justified the attack as a move allegedly to stop Iran from supposedly destroying the world through nuclear powers recently Iran an ultimatum.

The U.S. President told Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or they will attack their power plants and bridges. Trump intensified his warning saying that the “whole civilization will die” if Iran fails to come up with a deal fast. The Americans have started attacking several structures in Iran already.

Iran allowed the Philippines to pass by safely at Hormuz. Trump’s warning about the alleged death of the whole civilization of Iran earned different reactions. Recently, based on the Philippine Star, the U.S. President revealed that he agreed to stop the attacks against Iran for two (2) weeks.

“This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East,” the American Leader stated.

Iran has yet to issue a statement. Currently, the Philippines is struggling with huge oil costs because of the war in Iran. The jeepney drivers and delivery riders are already calling for long-term solutions.

Based on the post, the U.S. Leader stressed that his decision is subject to Iran’s “complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz”. Iran has previously declined negotiations with U.S. several times.
