Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial revealed that Annabelle Rama has given her these as presents, and this is what she said.
“Can I just say that we weren’t hiding. We just chose to have a private relationship talaga [because] we know na ayaw namin ng… What people don’t know they can’t ruin.”
This is what Barbie said when she confirmed her relationship with Richard Gutierrez. Along with this, she also revealed her relationship with Richard’s mother, Annabelle Rama. According to her, they have a great relationship. She was initially intimidated by her, but eventually, they got along so well.
Recently, she even shared that she received a gift from her. She received a ring, and she is grateful to her for being so gracious all the time towards her. Apart from the ring, she also received a set of earrings, which proved how “generous” and “sweet” Annabelle has been.
“Ito, bigay niya to. Thanks, Tita Annabelle. Noong birthday ko, binigyan niya ako ng ring. Sobrang bait ni Tita Annabelle. She’s very generous, very sweet, [and] very malambing,” she said.
Meanwhile, regarding her relationship with Richard, she expressed that she chooses honesty over expectations. She is aware of how playful fate can sometimes be, and with this, she admitted to avoiding making promises about the future, sharing that while she used to say she saw a future with past partners, things did not always work out.
Now, she leaves everything to God’s plan, accepting whatever comes her way. More than anything, she values the growth she experienced with Richard, saying their relationship helped her mature and make better life decisions moving forward.
“Ayokong magsalita about it. If ibibigay siya ni God, then okay. If hindi, then okay. Basta ang pinakaimportante is grabe ‘yung growth ko with Richard. As in parang nag-mature talaga ako sa mga desisyon ko sa buhay,” she said in a previous interview with Ogie Diaz.
