TNVS Driver Expresses Joy After Receiving P5,000 Cash Assistance From DSWD

A 68-year-old TNVS driver named Roberto Rabado, who has been working as a TNVS driver for more than ten years, is greatly affected by the increase in fuel prices. Like many drivers, he depends on his daily trips to earn a living.
Roberto received P5,000 in cash assistance, the amount may seem small to some, but for him, it is a big help in covering his daily expenses. It allows him to continue working without feeling too overwhelmed by the cost of fuel and other needs.

“Mahigit 10 taon nang bumibiyahe si Tatay Roberto Rabado, 68 anyos, bilang TNVS driver. Isa siya sa mga pinakaapektado sa pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina bunsod ng kaguluhan sa Gitnang Silangan.
Nabawasan ang kanyang pangamba nang siya ay makatanggap ng Php5,000 cash relief assistance mula sa DSWD, na magsisilbing pandagdag sa kanyang gastusin bilang isang driver. Sa halagang ito, unti-unting gumagaan ang bigat niyang pasan sa araw-araw na pagmamasada.
“Malaking tulong na ito sa akin, lalo na sa pang-araw-araw na biyahe. Maayos rin ang pila at hindi ako nahirapang kumuha,” paliwanag ni Tatay Roberto.
