A heartfelt surprise by Dingdong Avanzado for his wife Jessa Zaragoza has captured the attention of netizens, as the couple marked their 25th wedding anniversary with a touching renewal of vows.
In a recent Facebook post, Dingdong shared the intricate details behind the emotional surprise, revealing that the entire event had been carefully planned for nearly a year. According to the seasoned singer, secrecy was key to making the moment truly unforgettable, ensuring that no one involved would accidentally reveal the plan to Jessa.
“Make sure your daughter is in on it and make all your invited close friends promise not to ‘spill the beans,’” he wrote.
He added humor to his advice, saying, “Marites preferably not invited.”
To make the setup believable, Dingdong created a scenario where Jessa thought she had been booked for a work event. Specific instructions were even given regarding what she should wear, making the plan more convincing.
He also made sure that Jessa would agree to the supposed engagement by arranging a highly appealing talent fee.
“Since the supposed booking would be falling on your 25th anniversary date, make the organizer appear to agree to a very compelling Talent Fee for your wife to say yes to doing the event because she wouldn’t normally agree to having work during special family occasions unless the price is right,” he shared.
Dingdong further emphasized the importance of trust and discretion, adding, “Make sure that she trusts you enough to not regularly check on your phone. And to hide chat everyone involved-just in case.”
“This I learned when we started planning for this event almost a year ago,” he added.
