Arron Villaflor Issues Statement About Spread Of Alleged Private Video

Here’s the statement of Arron Villaflor about the issue.

Actor-public servant Arron Villaflor previously went viral for his alleged private video, and here’s his official statement about it.

The private videos of four actors, such as Arron Villaflor, Nikko Natividad, Ron Angeles, and Gil Cuerva, previously created a loud buzz online. Natividad and Cuerva have admitted the authenticity of the video. The former is regretful, while the latter condemns the act of recording without his consent.

Recently, Villaflor also issued his statement and condemned the same act without his consent or knowledge. He also cited that this was a clear violation of the law.

In an official statement posted on his Instagram account, he clarified that his previous statements from February 27 referred only to old film clips from past projects. The alleged private footage is a criminal matter that goes beyond past work.

He emphasized that the unauthorized recording and distribution of private content is a clear violation of Republic Act No. 9995, or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act. According to him, the weaponization of private content is an abuse, and no person’s dignity should be crushed that way.

Based on his statement, the matter has been formally referred to the proper authorities for investigation, and he assured that while the investigation is still ongoing, he will maintain his silence.

He wrote, “The matter has now been formally referred to the authorities for proper investigation. Out of respect for the legal process, I will refrain from making further comments while the investigation is ongoing.”

To recall, Nikko confessed to the cheating that had happened years ago and expressed how he regretted doing it. He was emotional in his interview, and at the same time, he expressed how grateful he is for his wife for giving him a second chance.
