After gaining backlash, the company clarified the election remark of Sarah Geronimo.
Previously, superstar Sarah Geronimo gained backlash over her election remark, and here’s her production company’s explanation about the matter.
Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo is the president of G Studios, the production company that she and her husband, Matteo Guidicelli, launched years ago. This is located at Alabang, Muntinlupa City, “a space that redefines what it means to be a creative hub in the southern part of Metro Manila.”

Recently, the company spoke for Sarah, who gained backlash because of an election joke. This was during her speech at the Earth Day Run 2026 – Manila Leg, which was held at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
A video of Sarah recently circulated on social media, showing her speaking to a crowd during an outdoor event. She said, “Maraming salamat po, iboto niyo po ako sa susunod na eleksyon.”
The video sparked speculation among some viewers that Geronimo might be “gearing up for the next election, or at least testing the waters,” prompting G Productions to issue a response.
“The video came from a live event where, as part of her closing spiel, Sarah playfully asked the audience to vote for her in the next election,” G Productions explained in a statement on social media.
The statement furthered that the banter was just meant to be a lighthearted moment meant purely for fun and crowd interaction. The company stated that Geronimo “is exactly where she wants to be — on stage, doing what she loves, and inspiring people through her talent and artistry,” and added, “We kindly ask everyone to enjoy the moment for what it was and resist adding any political color to an onstage joke.”
