The family of Odette Khan appeals for financial help.
Veteran actress Odette Khan is currently struggling with her health and is in dire need of financial assistance.
Based on an update from the family of Odette Khan, one of the pillars of Philippine cinema and a screen veteran, she is currently confined and bedridden at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute, where she has been undergoing treatment for multiple health issues.

According to her family, Khan has been diagnosed with pneumonia, emphysema, and edema. Fluid was drained from her right lung last Monday, and treatment remains ongoing.
With this condition and with all that is needed for her condition, they ran out of funds and appealed to the public for help for her ongoing treatment. As of February 27, her hospital bill has reached over PHP 211,000.00. This amount has not included the professional fees, caregiving expenses, and medication costs yet.
The medical expenses continue to rise, and in the post, her family shared that they are running out of funds and are seeking help from those who may be willing and able to donate.
“We are appealing to your kind hearts. If Mommy Odette has touched you in any way through her more than five decades of service in film and television, and you are capable and willing to donate, we would deeply appreciate it,” the statement said.
They expressed deep gratitude in advance to everyone offering prayers, assistance, and kind gestures for the beloved actress’s recovery.
