Vilma Santos Flexes Photo With Her “Inaanak” Mayor Vico Sotto

Vilma Santos and Vico Sotto met again after a long time

Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto flexed her photo with her godson, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, on her Facebook post just recently.

Ate Vi, as what the governor is fondly called in showbiz, had several years of service in the local government unit. In the 2025 elections, she returned to the political arena after several years of taking a break from politics.

In a recent event, she was able to catch up with her “inaanak” Mayor Vico, who has been making his own mark in public service.

Based on the article in Abante, the photo of Gov. Vilma Santos flexing her godson was taken when both attended the launch of the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) program called “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Bayan Makikinabang” at the Malacañang Palace.

Ate Vi was present because, aside from being the mother of the province of Batangas, she also supported her husband, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, in the said project. Mayor Vico was at the event as he is the father of Pasig City.

“My inaanak, Mayor Vico Sotto!” the veteran actress-politician wrote in the caption of her post, featuring her photo with the Pasig City Mayor.

Prior to this, Ate Vi also shared a video where Vico can be seen rushing to Ate Vi’s location, and his loud voice can be heard greeting the actress-politician, “Hi, Ninang!”

Ate Vi returned the sweet gesture of the Pasig City mayor with a tight hug and kiss. The veteran actress-politician was so proud to introduce her godson to her husband, telling him that Vico was still little when he last saw him.

Positive comments poured in for the reunion of the godmother and son. Netizens were so excited that they wished the two would meet more often.

Gov. Vilma Santos and Mayor Vico Sotto were among the local officials who attended the launching of the said government project, which aims to further strengthen the government’s support to the LGUs.
