Naga Mayor Leni Robredo Warmly Welcomes Pres. Bongbong Marcos in Naga
LENI ROBREDO – The Naga City Mayor inspected the “Oplan Kontra Baha” with President Bongbong Marcos today.
MalacaƱang previously confirmed that Marcos Jr. is set to meet Robredo in Naga. According to Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro, the President will meet with his former rival in the 2022 presidential elections for the inspection of the rivers, the drainages, and the canals in the city.

When asked if the meeting of Marcos Jr. and Robredo will come along with some discussions, Atty. Claire Castro said it is something that the people should await. The then-upcoming today sparked speculations and elicited varying opinions from many people.
For her part, Naga Mayor Leni Robredo claimed that it is a “big deal” that Pres. Bongbong Marcos himself is the one who will be visiting her city. According to her, she wants to bring him to a specific community so he will see the needs of her constituents.

Today is the day set for the meeting of Pres. Bongbong Marcos and former Vice President and Naga Mayor Leni Robredo. Based on GMA News, the Chief Executive has arrived at the Sagop Creek in Naga City.
Based on the post, Marcos Jr. was welcomed by former Vice President and now Naga Mayor Leni Robredo and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Chief Vince Dizon.


Currently, there are calls for former Vice President and Naga Mayor Leni Robredo to run for president again in 2028. Mamamayang Liberal Party-list Representative Leila de Lima hopes that Robredo will reconsider her decision and run again for the presidency.
The members of the opposition recently met for lunch but they did not disclose any political plan. According to Sen. Bam Aquino, it was a reunion for them.

The visit of Pres. Bongbong Marcos in Naga City is undeniably surrounded by speculations that he is probably trying to win former Vice President and Naga Mayor Leni Robredo. MalacaƱang previously claimed that Marcos Jr. has yet to mention about his presidential bet in the 2028 Elections.
