Dingdong Dantes mentioned Bobby Andrews in his recent post
Seasoned actor Bobby Andrews reacted to the praise he received from Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
Bobby was one of the 90s heartthrobs. He was known for being one of the lead starwhen he portrayed the character of Joaquin Torres in that show.
Dingdong also became part of the show as he played the character of Iñaki, the younger cousin of Bobby’s character.

In a recent Instagram post that Dingdong Dantes shared for the birthday of filmmaker Direk Dominic Zapata, he mentioned Bobby Andrews.
“Back then the idea of becoming an actor wasn’t something I seriously imagined for myself. But I wanted to follow in the footsteps of Bobby Andrews, who I thought was the coolest guy on television as Joaquin Torres,” the Kapuso Primetime King wrote.
Based on the article in Abante Entertainment, Bobby was asked to react to the praise he received from Dingdong. The older actor said that this is something good about being in the entertainment industry: he gets to inspire other people without even knowing about it.

“It’s not the fame, it’s not the recognition, but it’s what we do and somehow the difference that we make, the fact that at some point in your life, I’ve touched you in some ways, whether kilala kita or hindi,” Bobby said.
He also said that he and Dingdong never talked about this, even during the time when they were together for a Netflix event. The seasoned actor said that their show back then really touched many people’s hearts and he was happy about what Dingdong Dantes said.
“I know naman that T.G.I.S. is very influential to him. But with me, of course, it’s very touching. Dingdong is Dingdong. Touching,” Bobby Andrews said.
