Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu reacted to the comparison made between actors Paulo Avelino and Jericho Rosales.
Kim and Paulo‘s tandem is now known as KimPau, and their fans have been very supportive of their projects together, from their first series together, Linlang, to their current teleserye, The Alibi.
Just recently, a media conference was held for this project. The cast members were introduced, and they faced questions from reporters. One of the questions asked Paulo to reveal the real score between him and Kim.
The actor opted not to answer the question directly, based on the article in Abante. On the other hand, Paulo Avelino quipped that he will give it “100.” The reporter concluded that Paulo admitted their relationship, but he did not give a straightforward answer.
Then, the reporter commented that Jericho Rosales is the only one who is brave enough to admit his relationship with actress Janine Gutierrez, and that Paulo Avelino is just second to this.
Paulo defended himself by saying, “I just gave a score”. When Kim Chiu was asked by the press conference host, Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, about this, she answered, “Para saan ba ito? Ikabubuti ba ito ng Pilipinas?”
A KimPau fan on X, formerly Twitter, slammed the comparison made between Paulo and Jericho. The fan stressed that there were reporters who would make celebrities uncomfortable because of their questions, and that there was no need to compare Paulo to another actor.
Kim Chiu replied to this with a word showing that she agreed. “True!!!” and added a face with steam from the nose emoji.
Meanwhile, Kim admitted in the same press conference that the flowers that she received during Valentine’s Day were from Paulo. The actress posted this on her Instagram page.
