Ai-Ai delas Alas, fortunately, had no issue with her talent fees
Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas was asked about the talent fee issue of her fellow comedienne Pokwang.
To recall, Pokwang admitted that she asked for a raise for her talent fee as one of the main hosts of the Kapuso morning variety show Tiktoclock. The show was launched with her and Kuya Kim Atienza as the main hosts.
She shared that she chose to leave the show because her request for a raise was not granted. Pokwang said that she would just focus on her food business.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Ai-Ai delas Alas was asked if she had the same experience with Pokwang regarding the request for a talent fee increase.
“Parang ako, wala naman akong naranasang gano’n. Siguro ako, ‘yung customize ang TF ko. Halimbawa, kung sakaling babawasan ang TF, babawasan din ‘yung days. Kung 5 days ang taping o show, mababawasan para ma-compensate,” the Comedy Concert Queen shared.
Ai-Ai also said that there is no need for comparison between her and Pokwang because they have different experiences. She also said that the former Tiktoclock host surely has her reasons for making that decision in her career.
Ai-Ai delas Alas has a new movie titled Batang Paco with comedian Empoy Marquez. She shared that more than ever, she had so many realizations when it comes to her career. She shared that she wanted to be in the industry because she loves what she does, and she is happy about it.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Ai-Ai also shared that she reached out to Kris Aquino, whom she still considers her “friendship.” For a long time, they worked together for many years and shared a lovely friendship, but an issue occurred between the,m and they drifted apart.
