Motorcycle Vlogger Loses His Life in Road Accident in Pangasinan
A motorcycle vlogger died after getting into a road accident while riding his motorcycle in San Nicolas, Pangasinan.
Recently, the Facebook page San Nicolas PS shared photos of the motorcycle accident involving the vlogger. The post quickly went viral on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
A motorcycle vlogger lost his life after a tragic road accident in San Nicolas, Pangasinan. The incident happened while he was riding his motorcycle along Villa Verde Road in Barangay Santa Maria East on February 1, 2026 (Sunday).
Authorities identified the victim as Chester Masiglat, popularly known as Mamaw Moto. He was riding a Yamaha YZF-R3 when the accident happened. Based on the initial investigation by the San Nicolas Police Station, the road where the crash happened had a downhill and curved section.
While passing through this area, the rider reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to skid and crash into a cyclone wire fence along the roadside.
Emergency responders from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of San Nicolas immediately rushed to the scene. The victim was brought to the hospital, but doctors later declared him dead on arrival due to the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Police also clarified that the rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and tested negative for alcohol. This information helped rule out intoxication as a factor and pointed more toward road conditions and loss of control as possible causes.
The accident reminds the motorists of the risks faced by riders, especially on roads with sharp curves and steep slopes. Authorities continue to remind motorists to always practice road safety, slow down when approaching curves, and remain alert at all times.
