In an interview, Ruffa Gutierrez speaks about actress Barbie Imperial, the girlfriend of her brother, Richard Gutierrez.
It appears actress Barbie Imperial has already developed a close relationship with the family of her current partner, actor Richard Gutierrez. Recently, she organized an intimate special birthday lunch for Richard and Raymond to celebrate their 42nd birthday.
This intimate incident was shared publicly by Ruffa Gutierrez on her Facebook page on Wednesday, January 21. The celebration was held at The Peninsula Manila in Makati. Part of the intimate gathering were the Gutierrez patriarch and matriarch, Eddie and Annabelle Rama, and the action star’s son, Zion.
The post was shared a few days after Barbie and Richard confirmed their relationship, after they previously opted to keep it private.
In an interview, Ruffa was asked about Barbie, and said that she’s okay with her. She’s kind, and she also expressed her excitement as the younger actress is the new leading lady of her brother.
Ruffa added that one of the things she appreciates about Barbie is her cooking skills. She loves her spicy dishes. She said, “Masarap siya magluto. Dapat turuan niya akong magluto ng mga maanghang na mga pagkain. Sana walang gayuma.”
Meanwhile, when Barbie confirmed that they are in a private relationship, she shared that it was their personal choice to keep it private. With their celebrity status, it is easy for others to say something bad about them, but by keeping things private, she believed that what people don’t know they can’t ruin.
“Can I just say that we weren’t hiding. We just chose to have a private relationship talaga [because] we know na ayaw namin ng… What people don’t know they can’t ruin,” she said.
