There has been a lot of buzz for a long time now urging Vice Ganda to pursue politics. Aside from being among the wittiest comedians of the local entertainment industry, he has also shown people how smart and aware he is of what is happening in society.
Vice has been outspoken about corruption in the country and has previously called for unity among the public in demanding accountability and justice amid the massive flood control corruption issue.
Recently, in the recent episode of It’s Showtime, during the “Laro Laro Pick” segment, Anne Curtis expressed, “Alam mo dapat, tumakbo ka kaya. Iboboto kita.”
However, her stance in terms of joining politics remained firm and unchanged. She has no intentions of joining politics. She was being bashed for nothing because of this, despite being vocal about having no interest in becoming a politician.
“I am a beauty queen. I am not politician. I’m just a beautiful face in the industry. Let’s not entertain the thought. No,” the superstar comedian said.
While the people around her chanted “Pres Ganda,” she remained still, saying she is beautiful, happy, and at peace. She stated enough of the jokes, as they are just joking around there like siblings. He appealed to the public not to believe it and quipped that she’ll end up being bashed again by the supporters of those who are actually running.
“Tama na ‘yang biro-biro. Nagbibiruan lang po kami ritong magkakapatid. Huwag po kayong nagpapaniwala. Iba-bash na naman ako ng mga alaga nang mga tatakbo talaga. Akala talaga nila totoong tatakbo ako. Naku huwag niyo po akong sinasama-sama,” Vice said.
