Award-winning singer and songwriter Josh Groban has an upcoming concert in the Philippines on February 18, and in line with this, he remembered the first time he did a concert for his Pinoy fans.
Josh is one of the international artists who has a huge following in the Philippines. He has visited the country before. Just recently, it was officially announced that he will be having a concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena next month for his “Gems World Tour” concert.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Josh shared what he remembered in his PH concert back in 2007.

He admitted that he was a bit nervous at that time because it was too far away from his home in Los Angeles, and he had not done much traveling at that time.
“I remember my very first time there. And, you know, for a kid from Los Angeles who’d not done much traveling, to go so far away from home and to, you know, I was a little bit nervous about just traveling so far and so long to meet new fans for the first time,” he shared.
Josh Groban said that he could recall that first trip to PH like it just happened yesterday. The singer shared that he had time to go out and had some incredible times in Manila. He also went to a club.

“I went to some great restaurants. I got to know new friends whom I’ve had for a long time. I got to do a lot of meet and greets as well with some of my fans there,” he added.
He also shared that it was an interesting time in his career because everything was new, and it was so hard for him. However, when he came to Manila, he did not feel like it was hard for him.
For him, it was easy and welcoming, and it did not feel like work. Josh also highlighted the embraces that he received when he arrived because he felt that immediately, there was a connection.
