Bimby Aquino Gifts Ryzza Mae a Luxury Necklace
BIMBY AQUINO – Viewers were treated to a sweet surprise when Bimby Aquino appeared on “Eat Bulaga” to celebrate Ryzza Mae Dizon’s 21st birthday and share memories from their childhood.
Childhood friends Ryzza Mae Dizon and Bimby Aquino delighted viewers and Dabarkads alike with their heartwarming reunion on “Eat Bulaga” on Friday, June 12.
Bimby made a surprise appearance on the noontime show to personally greet Ryzza Mae on her 21st birthday, marking their first public reunion after years of losing contact. The unexpected guesting quickly became one of the highlights of the birthday celebration, bringing back fond memories of their time together as child stars.
For those who may not remember, Bimby and Ryzza Mae worked together in the 2013 family film “My Little Bossing.” Their chemistry and friendship during their younger years left a lasting impression on fans, making their reunion even more special.
During his appearance, Bimby shared a memorable story from their days filming the movie, revealing that Ryzza Mae was his first kiss.
“It was Little Bossing days… may isang scene kami sa street, parang we were watching the news [na-kidnap si Mama] and then nahanap na si Mama and sa sobrang saya ko, I had to kiss her sa cheeks pero mali ang aim ko, sa bibig pala [tumama],” story of Kris Aquino’s son.
The revelation immediately drew laughter from the hosts and audience. Vic Sotto jokingly suggested that Ryzza Mae may have intentionally caused the accidental kiss to land on Bimby’s lips.
Bimby also opened up about how much he treasured their friendship and the memories they shared as children.
“Those were one of the happiest times of my life talaga,” Bimby said while reminiscing about their childhood memories with Ryzza Mae.
Expressing his desire to reconnect, he added, “Sana maibalik natin ang dati. Our friendship dati. Kasi ‘di ba, we lost contact, ‘di ba?”
The audience erupted in cheers as the hosts playfully teased the pair about their closeness. Bimby continued to praise his longtime friend, saying, “Never change. Kasi from the time I’ve known you since you were 8 years old, hindi ka nagbago. So stay the same person you’ve always been. A kind, syempre beautiful, and caring person you are.”
Fans were further thrilled when he joked, “Kung hindi man maging tayo, ninong ako… Mga Dabarkads, we don’t end up together, kailangan ako ang ninong sa kasal niya.”
As if the heartfelt words were not enough, Bimby surprised Ryzza Mae with a special gift.
“I have one special gift lang for you,” Bimby said as he turned around and grabbed something from his pocket.
The studio erupted once again when he revealed what appeared to be an expensive Tiffany & Co. necklace, recognizable from its iconic blue box. As Bimby placed the necklace around her neck, Ryzza Mae jokingly remarked, “May leeg na ako, Bimb!”
The touching reunion, filled with nostalgia, laughter, and sweet gestures, quickly became one of the most talked-about moments on the show and left viewers smiling as they witnessed the enduring friendship between the two former child stars.
