Luke Jickain and Nico Antonio passed the Bar Exam 2025.
From certified celebrities to certified lawyers, Luke Jickain and Nico Antonio are among the passers of the Bar Exam 2025.
According to the Supreme Court, 5,594 examinees passed the Bar Exam 2025 out of 11,420 examinees who completed the three-day examination. This means 48.98% passing rate, or five passers out of every 10 examinees, a result higher than the 37.84% recorded in 2024.

Among the 5,594 official passers are celebrities Luke Jickain and Nico Antonio. From portraying lawyer roles, they are now certified, official, and licensed in real life.

Antonio was congratulated by Quantum Films, a co-producer of Antonio’s recent film “Unmarry,” an entry in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). In this film, the actor portrayed a lawyer. From the screen, he had brought this role in real life. Meanwhile, Jickain was the basis for Joshua Zuñiga, a character portrayed by Kean Cipriano from the film “Bar Boys.”
Nico finished his European Studies degree from Ateneo de Manila University and his law degree from San Beda College in 2013. This was the first time he took the examination, as in the previous years, he focused on his acting career. Among his most recent projects were Balota and Lolo and the Kid, which were released in 2024.
He is the son of Atty. Joji Alonso, a movie producer.
Luke, on the other hand, finished his law degree at Arellano University School of Law in June 2025. He had finished his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2023. This is his first take of the Bar exam, as well.
